Osmania University has organised an awareness Walk on the occassion of “WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY” On JUNE 5TH 2023 AT 7AM FROM OSMANIA UNIVERSITY ARTS COLLEGE TO ENGINEERING COLLEGE.
The program was attended by Registrar, Principals , Directors, Students of OU and affiliated Colleges. The staff and students of Dr.BR Ambedkar College, Badruka Degree College, R G Kedia Degree College have participated in the event enthusiastically.
Speaking on ocassion Registrar, OU, Prof. P. Laxminnaraya has reiterated that, the Telangana State stood No.1 in our country on several parameters on World ENVIRONMENT DAY.
He also said, all should actively participate in saveing the environment, using recycling technologies, single use plastic should be avoided.
Principal , Engg College Prof.Sriram Venkatesh supported the program with all the arrangements.
Prof.P.NaveenKumar, Director (Infrastructure) has thanked all the members for making this event a grand success and spreading the Awareness.
He also thanked Nr. AMAR from Naya Millets an Alum of OU for providing the millets breakfast to around 400 participants at Engineering College on the occasion of International Year of Millets declared by UNESCO and World Environment Day.
