15 floors allowed to Mantri Developers against norms

TPCC President Revanth Reddy accused CM KCR of creating destruction in the city of Hyderabad, which has a history of decades, with his thirst for money. He criticized that illegal constructions are being allowed near KBR Park in Jubilee Hills. Revanth Reddy alleged that the minister had given permission to the developers to construct 15-storey structures near the Jubilee Hills check post against the rules. Revanth Reddy explained the consequences behind this in a media conference.

Revanth Reddy said that KBR Park is the jewel of Telangana and KBR Park has many wild animals besides peacocks. Revanth Reddy reminded that KBR Park has been recognized by the Congress government as a heritage asset and the Congress government had allowed a five-star hotel in 2006 and Congress had made this proposal for tourists. Revanth Reddy said that Congress gave permission only for the construction of 3 floors and did not give permission for several floors keeping in mind the environment. 16 CMs have protected KBR park by putting in strict laws. That is why the central government has set many rules and regulations for construction around the park.

Minister lobby..permission for 15 floors
In 2006, the then Congress government followed all the rules and acquired 5 acres 30 guntas of land in the KBR Park area by forming a joint venture of ICICI Ventures, NCC and Maytas for the construction of a five-star hotel. After the Satyam scam in 2009, a company called IL&FS bought a 15 per cent stake in Maytas. After that, ICICI and NCC also left and finally, this land went into the hands of Mantri Developers which is located in Bangalore.

Mantri Developers applied to GHMC for residential construction on this land in 2012… got permission for G+2. Even though Mantri developers asked to give permission for more floors, the then government decided that they could not give such a permission because it was in an eco-sensitive zone. After the formation of Telangana in 2014, Mantri Developers again started efforts for permission for additional floors… In 2016, it applied for permission for G+7 floors. In 2018, Mantri’s application was cleared. Further, they applied for permission for five more floors in 2021. The KCR government has given a green signal for this in 2022.

Everything seems to be going well but behind the scenes, there is a lot going on. For this purpose, a company called RNR Developers LLP was created on 16th May 2017 in an agreement with Mantri Developers. Veera Venkata Rama Rao Remella and Shri Krishna Naik were partners in that company. If we dig into the roots of this Rama Rao Ramella, he previously worked as the General Manager of Finance in Satyam. Satyam is the most loyal and close friend of the family. They became partners in Mantri Developers. After they became partners, permissions came quickly. After an agreement between RNR and Mantri Developers, on February 21, 2018, GHMC gave permission for G+7 (an additional five floors to G+2 given in 2012) for the existing floor. However, not satisfied, they applied for five more floors. Basement 3+ ground+ 11 floors construction of five more floors on October 13, 2022, by GHMC. With this permission was granted for all 15 floors. Revanth asked if there is anywhere in the world where five stories are allowed inside the ground.

Rules were trampled for the Rajus
In this project, each apartment is being constructed with an average of 8000 SFT. 200 apartments are being constructed. Those who buy such a luxury apartment (an apartment for around Rs. 20 crores) have at least 5 cars in their house. According to that calculation, there will be a total of 1000 cars in this structure. One can imagine the situation if these thousand cars come out at once in the morning.

Revanth Reddy revealed that there is a rule that no construction should be done up to 120 yards from KBR Park. He said that a 15-storey building is being constructed adjacent to the park. The walkers association coming near KBR Park has been asked to file a public interest litigation. Can anyone come out of the five-story underground in case of unexpected accidents? He asked.

How they gave permission for 15 storeys on the land adjacent to KBR Park. KTR broke the rules for his friend, Satyam Raju. KCR attacked Sampath Kumar in the Assembly when there was a discussion about the destruction of heritage buildings. KCR says that he knows whatever happens in the state.. And does KCR not see the robbery happening in Jubilee Hills Circle? Revanth Reddy asked.

We will bury you in the pits you dug
He said that KTR is destroying the city and the heritage of Hyderabad city is disappearing. Revanth made a sharp criticism saying that they will bury them in the pit they dug in Hyderabad. Revanth said that Andhra is the destination for BRS leaders.. and then the Bay of Bengal.

Revanth Reddy made it clear that his criticisms are not political, but his quest is for the future of the city. Revanth Reddy said that the city is falling prey for the selfishness of the Kalvakuntla family, why are they giving permission to demolish the buildings of Nizam’s era, there are laws punishing even cutting a flower in KBR Park.

He said that episode one has been done so far.. He said that he will come to the media with more details after a gap of two or three days. They demanded that KTR should be sacked like Minister Rajaiah was sacked, saying that KCR would be cleansed of his sins if he did so.
