Forensic audit avoided as per a conspiracy: Pattabhi
Govt trying vainly to implicate Naidu in APSSDC false case
AMARAVATI: TDP national spokesman K. Pattabhi Ram on Thursday accused the YSRCP Government of trying to misuse the CID to implicate former CM Chandrababu Naidu in the name of a non-existent fraud in the Siemens skill development project in the State.
Pattabhi asserted that all the managements of colleges had given signed letters at that time that they had received the tools and items as per the Siemens project agreement with the State. Even the Idupulapaya IIIT located in CM Jaganmohan Reddy’s native district had also given such a letter. The CID should clarify this to the people.
Addressing a press conference here, the TDP leader asked how an FIR could be registered about fraud in the skill development centres (SDCs) when everything was perfect and as per the agreement. In the stock registers of all the skill development centres (SDCs), it was clearly written that all items and tools were received. The authorized persons had also signed in these registers. Did the CID deliberately overlook this evidence in order to file the false case?
Pattabhi termed it as unfortunate that the Jagan regime was throwing mud on the skill development centres that became well known for creating well paid jobs for lakhs of students across the State. The ruling YSRCP was doing this with an ulterior motive to take misplaced vengeance against the TDP. The CID officers were just acting like puppets in the hands of Tadepalli palace bosses.
The TDP leader said that the Design Tech company maintained the skill development centres (SDCs) at all the 40 colleges for three years as per the project agreement. Later, they handed over the centres to the respective colleges managements. At that time, the respective colleges and universities have checked before giving it in signed letters that everything was perfect in these centres.
Pattabhi said the Idupulapaya IIIT had also given a letter to the skill development CEO on August 6, 2021 that they had received the skill development centre in proper condition with all tools and items. CM Jagan can visit this IIIT and check with his own eyes. CID chief Sunil Kumar and investigating officer Dhanunjayudu should have checked these facts before blindly implicatingan a former IAS officer and respected experts.
The TDP leader said that the Government cleverly deleted the clause for forensic audit in order to bypass the stock registers in the 40 skill development centres. From this, it was clear that they hatched a pre-planned conspiracy to take political vengeance in the name of fraud charges.
