-All sections should join anti-YCP ‘Badude Badudu’ stir
-CM squeezing people through taxes, sand and liquor
-Jagan giving 10% benefits and diverting 90%
AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday slammed the YSRCP Government for making the lives of AP people ‘increasingly miserable’ by increasing taxes and prices of essential commodities.
Naidu accused Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of slapping new taxes only to squeeze the pockets of all sections of people.
In a tweet here, the TDP chief called upon the people to revolt and take an active part in the ongoing ‘Badude Badudu’ (squeeze) protests being organised by the TDP against the YCP Government’s tax burdens. All sections of society were reeling under the arbitrary taxes, increased current charges and prices of essentials.
Naidu said that in the past, the people’s lives were running smoothly in Andhra Pradesh because of a balanced policy towards welfare and development. Now, the State was hurtling towards an irrevocable socio-economic crisis.
Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan Mohan Reddy was only increasing his personal wealth by squeezing the hard-earned incomes of the poor and middle class people.
Everybody knew how the YCP ‘Badude Badudu’ (squeeze) policy had crushed the people. Over Rs. 1 Lakh burden was being placed on every family each year.
The TDP chief said the Chief Minister was giving just 10 percent in the name of welfare programmes but diverting 90 percent funds into his and his party leaders’ pockets. Even sand and liquor were turned into rich sources of illegal money for the ruling party.
Naidu gave a call for fighting back the ulterior plans of Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party leaders. It was high time for one and all to join the TDP’s struggle till the unjust and anti-people regime would be thrown out.
