Naidu faults police in YCP leader’s suicide

-File case based on Parthasarathy selfie video
-YCP leader blamed his own party colleagues
-Toxic political culture brought to Kuppam

AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday accused the ruling YSRCP leaders of abetting the suicide of Kuppam Gangamma Temple ex chairman Parthasarathy in Chittoor district.

Naidu asked why the police did not file an abatement case based on the selfie video of Parthasarathy who blamed his own YSRCP leaders for his extreme step.
In a statement here, the TDP chief said that such unwanted tragic incidents were taking place as the YSRCP had brought the toxic culture of selling posts for money in the Kuppam segment. Parthasarathy belonged to backward classes and he fell prey to the humiliations in his own party.

Naidu pointed out that lots of concerns and tensions arose in Kuppam following the untimely death of Parthasarathy. He had clearly said in his selfie video that his own party colleagues had harassed him.

Chandrababu Naidu demanded that the police immediately file a case based on the dying declaration of Parthasarathy in his selfie video. The Government should do justice to the bereaved family members.

The TDP chief said that eventually, their own party leaders were becoming responsible for the silent suffering and suicides of the YCP leaders. He conveyed his condolences to the family members of the victim.
