Road safety meeting held by Cyberabad CP Stephen Raveendra,IPS

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Raveendra IPS., today held a road safety meeting at Cyberabad CP Office with officials of the traffic wing with regard to traffic issues and road safety.

In view of IT Employees and business establishments set to return to office from April 1st week. The Commissioner, who enquired about the traffic congestion areas in IT Corridor and given certain instructions to free flow of traffic.

CP instructed to make aware of newly constructed link roads and install sign boards and habituate the public to use new roads to free flow of traffic.

The traffic police officers in the IT corridor were asked co-ordinate with IT companies and discuss their office timings to plan traffic regulations accordingly. CP advised to co-ordinate

CP stressed on the need for co-ordinated efforts by all the stake holding departments to improve road infrastructure.

To prevent road accidents officers are advised to increase enforcement against dangerous violations like Driving under the influence of Alcohol, wrong side driving, over speeding etc., and CP instructed the officers to deploy staff to be visible on roads to regulate traffic and prevent road accidents.

CP accepted to provide requirements of Traffic police and issue latest technology gadgets and other equipment.

In the meeting Cyberabad Traffic ADCP Srinivas Reddy, Kukatpally Traffic ACP Hanumantha Rao, Shamshabad traffic ACP Vishwaprasad, Balanagar traffic ACP Chandra shekar Reddy, Inspectors and other traffic officials were present.
