-‘Golden future for youth under Naidu rule’
-TDP HRD training meet
AMARAVATI: TDP politburo member Varla Ramaiah on Wednesday slammed Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for ‘betraying’ jobless youth by not fulfilling election promises made to them. Ramaiah asserted that the young generation of Andhra Pradesh would get a bright future only if Chandrababu Naidu would become the Chief Minister of the State once again. Addressing the TDP HRD training programme here, the TDP leader gave a call for creating awareness among the public on the failures and false campaigns of the Jagan Reddy Government. In the coming days, the TDP would give top priority to the youth in all aspects.
Ramaiah pointed out that many ordinary youth entered the Assembly after NTR founded the Telugu Desam Party to regain the self-respect for the Telugu people. Over 128 graduates were given a chance for contesting the first elections that the TDP contested. Over 80 percent of ministers in the then NTR Cabinet were young people only.
TDP former MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, who also spoke, said that the TDP rule was a golden age for all sections of people of AP. Welfare programmes were planned for the entire life cycle of each individual. In the 2019 elections, the YSRCP won by carrying out misleading propaganda with the help of Sakshi and other media.
Bonda Uma said that Jagan Reddy had tried to destroy the TDP ever since he became the Chief Minister but totally failed to do so. The TDP leaders and cadres were not afraid even though they were implicated in false cases, illegal arrests and subjected to wrongful attacks. Every TDP activist was still fighting against the atrocious rule of Jagan Reddy.
TDP MLC Ashok Babu asserted that the TDP would give a lot of importance to the youth. The party was in opposition now and it was a good opportunity for the young leaders to prove their mettle. The TDP was chalking out plans to prepare strong young leadership keeping the next 30 years in mind.
