-Historic injustice to 4 crore BC, SC, STs: ex Ministers
-17 Ministers dancing to tunes of 4 Reddys
AMARAVATI: TDP former Minister Kollu Ravindra on Wednesday slammed the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government for perpetrating ‘social betrayals’ in the name of social justice and false welfare programmes.
Ravindra said that Jagan Reddy had given sole power to just three Reddys while all the 4 crore Dalit, BC and Minorities populations were reduced to just footwear for the ruling party elite.
Addressing a joint press conference with former Minister Peethala Sujatha and spokesman Nasir Ahmad here, the TDP leader deplored that all the Ministers were turned into just puppets under the Jagan rule. The youth of SC, ST, BC and Minorities were getting crushed in volunteer jobs with no hope of better livelihoods in the near future.
Ravindra said that Jagan Reddy promised to improve the living standards of the poor people but after coming to power, he made their lives miserable with reduced incomes and increased taxes and prices. No justice has been done to the weaker sections in the past three years. Instead, the poorer sections were crushed socially, financially and politically.
The TDP leader asked what social justice the 17 Ministers were allowed to do to their SC, ST, BC and Minorities communities. All these Ministers were just forced to dance to the tunes of Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Vijay Sai Reddy, YV Subba Reddy and Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy.
Peethala Sujatha said the YCP Ministers’ bus yatra has turned out to be a total flop show with empty chairs mocking at the ruling party leaders. Jagan Reddy has turned the Ministers into a herd of speechless sheep that were simply following the commands of some vested interests.
Sujatha pointed out that the Dalits played a key role in making Jagan Reddy the Chief Minister of the State despite his questionable track record. The same Dalits were now becoming victims of brutal violence being unleashed by the ruling party goondas all over the State. The weaker sections woman home minister was not in a position to respond when atrocities were being committed on Dalit women.
Nasir Ahmad accused Jagan Reddy of launching attacks on the same Minorities with whose votes he had come to power in 2019. Minister Amjad Bhasha was not at all responding to the atrocities being committed on the Minorities. Over 1,800 Minorities youth went for foreign studies under Chandrababu’s Videsi Vidya. The Jagan rule had put severe hardships to all these youth.
