Achieving better results than last year in the field of weights and measures

– Rs. 6.59 crore stamping fees
– Compounding fees of Rs.3.69 crore were collected

Gudivada, September 7: Weights and Measures Department is achieving better results across the state, compared to last year. State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) said that Rs 82 lakh 74 thousand 185 stamping fees and Rs 7 lakh 70 thousand 900 compounding fees were additional collected. On Tuesday, Minister Kodali Nani reviewed the performance of the Weights and Measures Department at Krishna District Gudivada. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Kodali Nani said that during the last five months of the financial year 2021-22, Rs. 6 crore 59 lakh 39 thousand 550 stamping fees were collected. At the same time last year, Rs. 5 crore 76 lakh 65 thousand 365 were collected. In Srikakulam district, Rs. 22 lakh 28 thousand 285, in Vijayanagaram district Rs. 24 lakh 02 thousand 685 and in Visakhapatnam district Rs. 90 lakh 37 thousand 828 and in East Godavari district Rs. 78 lakh 86 thousand 695, in West Godavari district Rs. 42 lakh 93 thousand 060 and in Krishna district Rs. 85 lakh 08 thousand 271s and in Guntur district Rs. 58 lakh 40 thousand 895, Rs. 37 lakh 34 thousand 760 in Prakasam district, Rs. 42 lakh 88 thousand 480 in Nellore district, Rs. 58 lakh 03 thousand 475 in Chittoor district and Rs. 29 lakh 86 thousand 925 in Kadapa district. 46 lakh 57 thousand 095 in Anantapur district and Rs. 42 lakh 71 thousand 096 in Kurnool district.
Also during the five-month period of the financial year 2021-22, Rs. 3 crore 69 lakh 62 thousand 500 compounding fees were collected. During the same period last year, Rs. 3 crore 61 lakh 91 thousand 600 were collected. 21 lakh 91 thousand 700 in Srikakulam district and Rs. 17 lakh 64 thousand 100s in Vizayanagaram district, Rs 48 lakh 98 thousand 200 in Visakhapatnam district, Rs 33 lakh 70 thousand 000 in East Godavari district and Rs. 25 lakh 67 thousand 500 in West Godavari District, Rs. 38 lakh 57 thousand 300 in Krishna district, Rs. 37 lakh 57 thousand 400 in Guntur district, Rs. 26 lakh 37 thousand 000 in Prakasam district and Rs. 17 lakh 70 thousand 000s in Nellore District and in Chittoor district Rs. 25 lakh 31 thousand 500s, In YSR Kadapa district Rs. 24 lakh 31 thousand 000s, in Anantapur district Rs. 25 lakh 77 thousand 800s. Minister Kodali Nani said that compounding fees of Rs 22 lakh 17 thousand 000 in Kurnool District have been collected.
