Naidu tweets resident’s voice on ‘Badudu rule’

-Demands YCP Govt to apologise to AP people
-3 years of failed promises and huge betrayals
-CM should reply to common man’s questions

AMARAVATI: TDP National President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday demanded that the YSRCP Government tender an open apology to the people for its false promises and non-stop betrayals.

Naidu asked the Chief Minister to reply to the questions of the common public on his ‘Badude Badudu’ regime’s taxes, charges and burdens.

The TDP chief tweeted a voice message of a Vijayawada resident who poured out his and the people’s woes in the face of increased financial burdens and taxes in the past three years.

Naidu expressed concern that the people of Andhra Pradesh were being punished in multiple ways just for voting the YSRCP to power in 2019. Was casting a vote for the YCP a crime on the part of the public?

The Vijayawada resident narrated how the citizens were being punished with increased taxes in municipalities. He gave details of how his house tax went up from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 5,700. The tax was increased abnormally in the name of house tax, garbage tax, drainage tax, lighting tax, water tax, library tax, unauthorised penalties, tax arrears and interest.

The resident deplored that unbearable burdens were placed on the poor and middle classes. He had appealed to the Government to consider his voice message and reduce the tax burdens on the common man.

Chandrababu Naidu advised the Government to take serious note of the Vijayawada resident’s plea and act accordingly to rescue the general public from tax hikes.
