I have been following up with the Ministry of Labour and Hon’ble Union Minister for Labour Bhupender Yadav for early budget approval of all sanctioned 8 ESI hospitals in Andhra Pradesh.
I am happy to inform that Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Ministry of Labour, Government of India is sanctioning a budget of Rs.390 Crores for the construction
of a 400 bedded ESI Hospital in Visakhapatnam. Standing Committee of ESI Corporation is taking decision in its meeting today. The construction will be undertaken by CPWD at the earliest.
Apart from following up with Central government, during my meeting on January 4 and 5 with Municipal Commissioner and District Collector Visakhapatnam, I had reviewed civic services that were pending which delayed construction of the 400 bedded ESI Hospital in Visakhapatnam.
I would like to thank Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble Union Minister for Labour Shri Bhupender Yadav for yet another important project for people of Andhra Pradesh.
We will continue to pursue early land finalization and budget allotment of other ESI hospitals in Andhra Pradesh.
