Why KCR silent against Revanth?

Questions BJP Spokesperon

BJP national spokesperson and former MP Zaffar Islam wondered why BRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is silent in ‘Note for vote’ case against Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A Revanth Reddy and what prevented him from taking action. He has accused that this was an example to show that both BRS and Congress are in tacit understanding in the state and partners in corruption.

Speaking to reporters here at party office on Wednesday, Zafar Islam said that AIMIM has been directing both Congress and BRS in their actions. “They are all the same side of the coin. All of them are enacting a drama as if they are opposing each other tooth and nail. By making allegations against others they wish to fool the people. All these parties are family centric parties and for them the foremost importance is protecting their respective families,” said Zafar Islam wondering whether AICC general secretary and party senior leader Rahul Gandhi did not know about Chandrasekhar Rao who was in the Cabinet of Manmohan Singh in the first term. He has ridiculed the statement made by Rahul Gandhi that they would get back the Rs. 1 lakh crore from Chandrasekhar Rao for his corruption in Kaleshwaram.

Referring to Congress rule between 2004 and 2014, the BJP spokesperson said that huge corruption took place during that period.

Stating that both BRS and Congress are going with an understanding in elections, Zafar Islam said that Congress will extend required support to that party and that was what happened in 2014 and 2018. “Both these two terms of BRS, Congress MLAs joined that party,” he said.
