MP GVL meets Railway Board Chairperson and seeks a thorough probe into Kothavalasa train accident
Railway Chairperson agrees to GVL’s demand for a train safety/ security review in East Coast Railway Zone
Continuing his efforts towards improving train safety in East Coast Railway Zone, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Shri GVL Narasimha Rao met Railway Board Chairperson Smt.Jaya Varma Sinha in Delhi and requested her for a thorough enquiry into the train accident near Kothavalasa in Visakhapatnam parliament.
In meeting with the Chairperson, MP GVL Narasimha Rao also demanded a detailed review of train safety in the East Coast Railway Zone which has seen two major accidents in the last five months.
Chairperson Smt.Jaya Varma Sinha assured MP GVL that all steps would be taken expeditiously to strengthen railway safety in the East Coast Railway Zone.
