A24-year-old woman of Mitnala village, Nandyala mandal, Nandyala district, had married three men without giving divorce to anyone. The incident came to light after one of the victims complained to the police.
According SI Srinivasulu, Sirisha, daughter of Mary Jasinta alias Meramma is a resident of Mitnala village. Sirisha got married to Panyam Mallikarjuna of Chennampalle, Avuku mandal. Without giving divorce to Mallikarjuna, Sirisha married Srinivasa Reddy of Kothapalle, Atmakuru mandal for the second time.
Later, without giving divorce to second husband, the accused decided to marry for the third time. This time she chooses Maheswar Reddy of RS Rangapuram, Bethamcherla mandal.
Sirisha put a condition to Maheswar Reddy to deposit Rs 5 lakh in her account since this is a second marriage for him also. He deposited Rs 5 lakh on February 1 and they got married on February 5 in a temple.
Later, Sirisha’s mother Meramma started demanding Maheswar Reddy to give more money and to give a part of his property also if he wants Sirisha to live along with his mother.
Maheswar Reddy became suspicious over this and enquired about Sirisha. He was shocked to know that she was married twice already.
